Test enviroment : winXP/Pro/ korean.

Since the panel size is too small to show whole strings, either L10n need to retranslate the strings or make the panel size bigger. (see attached files)

The behavior shown when bringing up the download window in korean is clearly wrong.  Even in english the text of the validating line for long names is cut
off, but in korean it seems to wrap over on itself.  Lets fix for mantis.

The problem here is not in java web start, but in the translation of the korean string.

The original translation is:

launch.validatingStatus={1}\uc5d0\uc11c {0}\uc744(\ub97c) \ud655\uc778\ud558\ub294 \uc911

where {1} is the hostname and {0} is the filename

But both {0} and {1} can be very very long, and it's possible to have all the words after {1} chopped off in the dialog.  So the dialog would not make any sense to the user.

The korean string should be translated to similar format of the english string:

launch.validatingStatus=Validating {0} from {1}

which begins with some word that can make sense to the user, even if all the string after {0} is chopped off.

Song An, the engineer who filed this bug, provided a new translation:

launch.validatingStatus=\ud655\uc778\uc911 {0} \ub2e4\uc74c\uc5d0\uc11c {1} 

But looking at the korean strings.properties file, I think some other strings will have similar 
problems in the download dialog too.

e.g:

launch.patchingStatus={1}\uc5d0\uc11c {0}\uc744(\ub97c) \ud328\uce58\ud558\ub294 \uc911

Can the l10n group take a look at this problem and see if they can provide
a better translation for the korean strings?

The problem is not in the translation itself. The translations are technically correct. 

It is not a good design to truncate the sentence in the middle just because there is not enough space. If the string is too long, the dialog box should either auto resize or provide a slider bar for scrolling, or the sentence should wrap to the next line, for the user to see the whole string.
