Description
|
In AWT/Swing, all frames show maximize/minimize/close buttons on the title
bar. The programmer should have control over the display of these buttons.
AWT automatically figures out which buttons are needed in some cases. This
is nice, but does not replace the need for manual control. For instance, it is
sometimes necessary to use a Frame to simulate Dialogs. But Frames get more
buttons than Dialogs - buttons which are often inappropriate.
