Description

Bug Report from Borland (primary licensee):
IME is disabled for all Swing and dbSwing components,
making it impossible to enter Japanese characters into those components.

We have a JBuilder application available which readily shows this problem.
If you'd like it please contact John Bailey (###@###.###)

Borland: "Must fix before JDK1.1.6 locks down"

EVALUATION

Tested input methods using JDK1.1.6K and SwingSet (swing-1.0) on Japanese Windows95, Japanese Windows NT 4.0, Japanese Solaris 2.5.1 and 2.6. The problem was not reproducible.

Note that SwingSet doesn't run on Win32 if jit is turned on (default).
