Description
|
Open a help file in JavaHelp. In the content pane of the help,
try scrolling up or down using a mouse with a scrolling wheel,
such as the Logitech mouse or MS Intellimouse. Nothing happens.
This is a usability problem: it is annoying to people who are
used to their applications that support mice with scrolling wheels.
We are evaluating JavaHelp and customer HTML Help as tools for
distributing our online help, and are disappointed that this popular
Windows feature has been overlooked.

This is not related to the JavaHelp Api directly, but to the
underlying GUI components of AWT and Swing.
Should work when the mouse wheel has been included to
Merlin.
