Description
|
A developer at JavaOne '99 said (and others agreed) they get incomprehensible
errors every time they run javadoc 1.2.
We should be on the alert for such errors.
We asked them to send us the particulars as bug report so we could at
least give them more intelligent messages.
Highly requested by developers at JavaOne '99 Javadoc Bird of a Feather.

This is a pretty non-specific request. You can close it if it's too general,
or keep it open if you have ideas or would like to brainstorm and make it
more specific. Bug 4396665 "All warnings and errors should show the responsible file" would go a long way toward this end.
