Description 
On linux, currently if java is used to play sound (i.e., WSUN Radio report), then even the play is stopped, the sound device seems still being held, and no other non-java sound application can play (i.e., RealPlayer, MP3, etc.). The only way to release the sound device is to exit the browser. This was reported in bugizlla bug 55283.
