The JPI implements Javascript functions isResolvable,
dnsResolve, and isInNet in order to support Proxy Auto-
confuguration (.pac) files.

Evaluation
|
Currently porting a fix for 4670449 from Mantis code base to 1.4.0_01 code base for the purposes of testing and binary relief. A fix will likely be integrated into 1.4.0_03. Due to some differences in the design of JPI for IE in Mantis vs. Merlin, such as Mantis uses ATL but Merlin doesn't, the port is not a straight forward port and ATL macros such as OLE2A and A2OLE can't be used directly in Merlin. Nevertheless, the port is near completion and currently the fix is being tested and debugged.

A 1.4.0_01 based binary relief has been sent to ES for customer's verification.
