You can repro it if you just create the Java source file that
consists of only one character 'c' (for example) and try to

There is a related problem that if the last line of the file
includes a comment with no following new line, the compiler
complains about an 'unended comment'; i.e. the last line of
} // End of class
with no definition will cause the compiler to gripe about the
comment not ending...

Why is this marked as fixed? It still occurs in 1.4.1_02...

Bug 4746255 is marked 'closed' because it is fixed
in the 1.4.2 release (code name mantis).
