Description
|
filed on behalf of customer.
Customer is seeing strange behavior when using swing-based applet on windows XP. Please see attachments.
XP version: 2600.xpclient.010817-1148
IE version: 6.0.2600.0000.xpclient.010817-1148
We do not see this consistently on every XP system.

Evaluation

Customer apparently has a Trident CyberBlade XP chip, which is the same one
that caused a similar bug documented in 4839812. Closing this bug as a duplicate of that one.
note that this bug is fixed in 1.4.2-RC (not yet in public release, but hopefully soon). also, there are workarounds documented in 4839812.
