Description

This is a follow-up of
4936397: Problems with DirectAudioDevice
The fix of the bug did not fix the problem on Solaris, that fails to enable multiple opens (getMaxLines == 1).
On solaris-i586, the Clip's drain method hangs under certain conditions.

DirectAudioDevice must work very reliably, since they are the new default for tiger (if mixing is enabled). So these 2 problems must be fixed for tiger.
