Description
|
Currently our 64-bit windows installers do not use base images, as our 32-bit installers do. There are no iftw installers for 64-bit either. And we need to have the 64-bit installers call regutils to copy certain files to the system directory, and maintain registry keys.
We will need to address this Mustang.

Still present (e.g., manifests as java not being in default path as described in 6437043) in b105, which being a production release and the standard Java SE JRE release now is VERY surprising.
This effectively means that any user with XP64 installing Java SE who expects (unmodified) java programs to just work as usual will be disappointed.

Just installed 1.6.0_01-b06.
This bug is STILL present.
I guess Sun doesn't believe there are any users of 64 bit Windows.

Is this issue targeted for Dolphin (JDK7) like the Java Plugin port to x64?
PLEASE NOTE: JDK6 is formerly known as Project Mustang
