Menu shortcuts are not getting created on gnome versions(Solaris,linux etc) .After logout and login , shortcuts are visible.

EVALUATION

Pushed change that adds support for newer Desktops based on freedesktop specs.
This is applicable to shortcuts only. Associations will be taken care of under 7023178.
