Description
|
Tested JDK: 6u10-b14, 6u6-b02
Browser: IE 7 (7.0.5730)/ IE 6/ FF 2.0.0.13
OS: XP-pro(sp2)/ win 2003 SE (sp1)
Problem: When using the HTMLConverter's Template File: Extended (Standard + All Browsers/Platforms), the converted applets do not work using IE 7. However, the same converted applets work fine using IE 6 and FF 2.0.0.13.
It appears that the applet CODE parameter is not being recognized by IE 7.
Steps to reproduce:
------------------
1) Install jdk 6u10-b14 onto the windows test system
2) Invoke the HTMLConverter under the installed 6u10 jdk
3) Select the given Template File: "Extended(Standard + All Browsers/Platforms)"
to convert any applet (ex: our jdk demos applets)
4) Using IE 7 to load any converted applets from step 3
If you can't load converted applets using IE 7, then the problem is reproducible.
(Again, these converted applets load OK using IE 6 or FF 2.0.0.13)

Evaluation

Unable to reproduce the problem with build 21. I am using converted applets in the build output directory. Applets load fine in IE7.
