Description
|
The following directory is left on the machine after jdk uninstallation. I tested both 32-bit jdk and 64-bit jdk installers. There are a lot of files left in the directory.
C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_14\lib\visualvm\profiler3
The testing bundles are here
http://j2se.east/arc/1.6.0_14/pit/2009- customer -04/
The step to reproduce the issue
1. install jdk
2. uninstall jdk
3. checking the ${INSTALLDIR}\Java\jdk1.6.0_14

Evaluation

We found two issues from this CR.
1. .sl files should not be created on the windows systems. Daniel will fix it in 6u14b03? The issue will be resolved by his fix.
2. There is also mismatch between the RemoveFile table and Directory table. One allowed "." in the name. Other one did not allowed to use "." in the name. I will file separate bug for this issue and targete it to java7.
