the customer webrev for 6797688:
http://web-east.east/www/webrevs/ah22606/merge
creates some feedback that should be incorporated into the change (such as SCCS keywords creeping back in, and improper use of bufferoverflowU.lib.
These changes will be applied to the fix to 6797688 before integration
