Description
http://java.net/jira/browse/MACOSX_PORT-431 submitted 2011/09/22 by Mike Swingler
Horizontal scrolling does not work. In Apple's Java SE 6 we invert the SHIFT modifier state on the event depending on the axis of the native scroll event.

.STEPS TO REPRODUCE
0. On Lion:
1. java -jar /Library/Java/Demos/JFC/SwingSet2/SwingSet2.jar
2. Horizontally scroll on any scroll view using two-finger trackpad scrolling or a mouse with a horizontal scroll axis

EVALUATION

Horizontal scrolling works for me for all scrollPanes in SwingSet2.
I suspect the description is not complete -
I scroll by dragging the scrollBar with my mouse, do the submitter implies the different scenario?

Author: Mike Swingler Date: 05/Oct/11 03:57 PM
Clarified the instructions to mean horizontal scroll events sent directly from an input device.

Assigned to someone who has touchpad and can reproduce the bug.
