I am not able to reproduce the issue with the build b225 on  Mac OS X (10.7).
The provided link to the Log file does not work for me.

Could you run the test with the latest macosx build and attach the results fo the test failure to the issue?

Tested on MacOSX 10.7.4

The test:
test/javax/swing/JMenuItem/6209975/bug6209975.java
passes using JDK 8 b47.

The test presess F10 which is a system key combination on Mac OS X which shows ll open windows. 

Using F10 can be changed to clicking on the test menu by mouse.
