Description
|
One of the defined resource types for Model MBeans is EJBHandle, but the Reference Implementation does not support this. It would be customer if it could.

It is not clear exactly how this would work. The spec is silent. Could look at what the independent implementations do.

Also, it may be difficult to implement this without introducing a forbidden dependency J2SE -> J2EE.

Perhaps we could have some form of pluggability in RequiredModelMBean for arbitrary managed resource types. Not clear whether this is really worthwhile, versus just subclassing RequiredModelMBean or implementing the ModelMBean interface directly.

There are no current plans to implement Model MBean pluggability as described.
